Adding this feature may be a requirement by your local city or state health department. When preparing foods, many health departments mandate that your cart have a hot/cold hand wash sink. This system is a fully functional application that provides hot water from an instant hot water heater and a self-contained water pump unit. Potable water source is a standard five gallon water cooler bottle. A special food grade wand is depressed, and water temperature is adjustable via a thermostat. When this option is purchased it also includes an 8.5 gallon grey water waste tank located on the underside of the cart. A 1/2-turn valve enables the waste water to be drained easily and quickly. This option also includes professional installation of all plumbing components and electrical requirements. This option requires a standard 110 volt power supply. All components are NSF certified for application.

This system includes all mentioned in Hand Wash Sink upgrade, however the standard 110V water heater is replaced with a propane-fired instant hot water heating system. A small portable propane canister will provide several hours worth of hot water. The water heater mounts on the outside of the cart below the sink, all professionally installed. The water heater is completely automatic and fires on demand. Once the faucet is turned off the water heater will shut off. It self lights using two standard D-cell batteries, which wil last for months. This is a truly self-contained system requiring no external power source.

For 12V power we have designed this custom battery holder to easily mount to your Big Top Chassis below the push bar. We offer this option to include with your cart a mount only or with a plastic battery box included. You may also include a high quality deep-cycle battery with this option.
